I have heard that the book is much better, but I have yet to read it. Too many other books in the queue! One adaptation I have seen recently that I absolutely adored, was BBC’s North and South. It was yummy. :o)

Don’t even bother to watch movie adaptions of literary books. The book was very enjoyable and had an intriguing take on the whole author/narrator/truth/fiction conundrum. The movie was blah and Keira Knightley needs to eat a few more sandwiches.
