I've not heard of Marjane, but I definitely want to read the book after reading your post. And I couldn't help but think of Mei-Ling, a blogger friend of mine who is an adult adoptee. She is right now in reunion with her Taiwanese first family. She's currently coming to grips with the whole "you can never go home again, but you can, but maybe not, but maybe." Wow, Riley.
