		<description>I DESPERATELY love that cookbook and have never found a copy! I just gave in and bought one used off Amazon - it should be here soon. 
The liniment scene is in the first Anne novel, as Calista said. I love the first Anne novel and not so much the later ones, which makes me not that much of an Anne Fanatic, eh?</description>

		<description>I am an Anne of Green Gables nut. Marilla let into Anne when she tasted the cake. It was mostly her fault though because she had damaged the liniment bottle and poured what was left into an old vanilla bottle...so you see it was really Anne's fault. But you'd think she would have smelled the stuff.  Anyway, it's in the original Anne of Green Gabels book, but I don't think I saw this scene in the movie...........</description>
