Because Mizzou Fish and the Mizzou Blue Birds don’t sound nearly as cool as Mizzou Tigers.
Kentucky. We were so afraid of misspelling our state name, we just opted out.

Have you been to all of these states? Because this is getting to be quite an impressive collection, but it makes one wonder what has happened in your life that you have visited Nebraska.
(I say this as a person who used to live in that state. Not a lot of visitors, really.)

They could be pilot whales. Pilot whales are the same size as dolphins, which makes me think that they were misnamed
