The Latest in Hair Trends

Little No Limit has a new hairstyle these days, the Knotted Hair Look:
DSCN4546

She achieves this look by twirling her hair around and around until it almost cuts off the circulation in her finger and then she removes her finger and her hair is beautifully knotted. Perhaps she enjoys this hairstyle because of the feeling of accomplishment. After all, she can do it without help, without permission, and once she starts twirling, it only takes a few minutes to reach the end product. How’s that for realizing a goal once a day!

I racked my brain trying to come up with other people in the world who sport this most upscale of updo’s, and know who I came up with?

Hippies.

Hell no, she won’t go (in the potty chair).

Time to switch out those Veggie Tales CDs and start playing this:

  • OMG hilarious - now I have a protest march in my head - Hell no, we won’t go - we should get them together - they can spin toilet-trained society on its ear… ;-)

  • love, LOVE Phish. Any baby who listens to Phish is a friend of mine! Bring on the hair knots! (Better hair knots than hair nets, I always say.)

  • I know nothing of Phish except that they are an improvisational band associated with the pop culture sense of the Grateful Dead and the Dave matthews Band. I also know that they spell fish wrong. If I were their manager I would have them change it to ghoti for much the same reasons that I would support the “smell the glove” cover of spinal tap. You see,

    laugh - gh = “f”
    women - o = “i”
    station - ti = “sh”

ghoti would be cool. I hope they read your blog comments.

  • Thanks for participating in the Carnival of Family Life this week. Your post is a great contribution to the Carnival! What a crack-up. Just repeat over and over, “This too shall pass, this too shall pass, this too shall pass . . .”

  • My mom and grandma used to tell me if I kept twirling my hair it would all fall out. I still twirl my hair in boredom or concentration mode. ;) I love the new do.

    Hugs,

  • Do I dare admit on a public website that I not only used to do the exact same thing with the hair knots when I was little, but (at 41) am still doing it to this day? Ooops, I think I just did :)

Found this on a link from your other blog! Just love the pics and the posts!!
